Large amounts of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications via the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its workplace, Peter Moore, said: “It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
“These types of items being sold, usually online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
“You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
